With this in mind, we offer award-winning food options with unique flavors and promote local chefs and entrepreneurs. We hire local musicians to perform classics and sing-along songs for our guests. We dress our establishments with nostalgia and pop culture pieces that ignite fond memories of the past and are significant to guests’ upbringing, family, or relationships. We partner with local artists and empower them to express their artistic vision while keeping their communities at the forefront of what they create  for our spaces.

Jason Boso Our Founder

Brain Storm Shelter, Jason’s management company, was created in 2006 and has hit home run after home run since. It’s a place where wild and unique restaurant ideas bloom and creative visions become reality.

Jason created the better burger restaurant concept that the likes of Bobby Flay and Emeril Lagasse have iterated. His concept was named the number one burger joint in America in 2009 and Best Concept award by Restaurant News in 2012. Jason has gone on to create successful breweries, taco restaurants, and outdoor food and music venues. All his unique restaurant ideas have and continue to win awards and have generated 40 million in top-line annual sales. It’s a peculiar combo to see a person have equal business acumen and creativity rolled up in one brain; this is one of the main reasons for Jason’s continued success.

The company’s financial health and business operations are top of the market, with a focus on management practices that ensure a healthy work-life balance, such as four-day work weeks for store managers, resulting in top-of-the-line store-level management and ease in hiring.

Jason is a chef, wine sommelier, mixologist, and semi-professional dad joke-teller. He also enjoys travel, petting every dog he sees and passionately driving innovation in the food and beverage category.
